Portsea SLSC welcomes applications from potential new members. The club's activities are centred around the provision of lifesaving patrol services at Portsea but there are many other club activities for members to get involved in, such as supporting club events and education programs, officiating at competitions, fundraising and supporting club operations.
The membership year runs from 1 September to 31 August and we typically start taking membership applications in July of each year.
This year will see a new membership process implemented which will require prospective new members to nominate an existing club member over 18 to sponsor each new membership application. Prospective members who are new to the club community will be encouraged to nominate the Club Secretary as their sponsoring member.
